A "Cultural District” is a district designated by a Local Governing Authority for the purpose of revitalizing a community by creating a hub of cultural activity, by offering communities opportunities to create or rebuild cultural destinations.

The Bayou Des Glaises Cultural District is dedicated to fostering cultural preservation and revitalization, within the Bayou des Glaises community. Our mission is to celebrate and sustain the rich heritage of our regions through the preservation of its unique cultural identity, traditions, and creative expressions. We are committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive cultural hub that connects generations, inspires creativity, and strengthens the bonds of our community.
